One of our special friends has emerged from hibernation. Some of the oldest turtles in the pond have built up many layers of different colors of scum on their shells. Though the years have slowed them down a bit, they still can move. They are the absolute favorite ride of the frogs, who have affectionately named these rarely seen turtles "Festina Lente", which translates to "Make Haste Slowly". Quite a few micro-pours went into these, making them especially one of a kind!

All our wax is hand-poured in small batches, and is made from a recipe of paraffin and beeswax to create a skate wax that slides for days and also lasts much longer than paraffin-only wax. The hand-pour process also allows for each piece to be slightly unique. We celebrate these slight differences in every piece. We guarantee our wax, and if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please reach out to us for replacement or refund.
